Highlights

Had to include a few more events that bring us right into 2011!!

The Blizzard of 2011- school was cancelled all week and we didn't leave the house for days- almost the whole city was shut down- you can tell we Texans don't handle ice well. The family time was fun for the first few days... then we needed a break!! Bryan and I ventured out for a movie and dinner date.

Kenz loved it, Alex hated it- this seems to be the trend with snow and water

Cousins at PaPa's Ranch- our fun new family adventure- Papa's Ranch! We have lots of mommy cows, lots of babies that were all born at the ranch, a few bulls, a horse, a tractor (Alex's FAV part), a barn cat, a few carts to drive around and dad just won a 3 three wheeler at a car auction in San Antonio! Nature is just so beautiful and you can really see God out in the country!

Christmas Morning- my children were so nice to let us eat breakfast before opening any presents- poor babies have too many toys they can't even see them all- is it bad that I go through them and get rid of some periodically while they are sleeping?? We are about to have a major sort through because the playroom will soon become the nursery.

Makenzie's Christmas Party at school was so fun! We love our teacher Kim Hudson and she was just named Wylie Teacher of the Year!! She is a blessing to my sweet girl who is learning so much- academically and socially- she came home one day asking why boys talked about their peanuts all the time...

Thanksgiving at the Great Wolf Lodge with my extended family- we got to meet Uncle Bub's new girlfriend and play with our cousins and spend lots of time at the water park- once again Kenz loved it, Alex hung out in the cabana.

Happy Halloween from Cleopatra and Mickey Mouse (mee mouse)- my mom made those yellow shoes when my brother was Mickey Mouse about 20 years ago- Go Mom!! I sewed buttons on some red shorts and bought the ears and drew a nose on him (which he loved) and he was set! Makenzie picked her costume from a magazine and although she had no idea who Cleopatra was, she thought the costume was fun and I had to agree!! My first car was named Cleopatra Esmeralda a black VW beetle- fondly remembered as Cleo :)

Farewell 2010

I have been a total blog slacker lately but am going to try to catch up!! In October Makenzie Grace turned 6

and in November Alexander Ray turned 2!!

I can not believe how big they are getting!! We also had a huge surprise late fall as well- Wilson Baby #3 is due this summer!! I am so excited that my dear friend Dr. Tracy Glass is going to deliver this baby. I think that it is a girl but we will find out for sure soon!! What a blessing and what a miracle that God has given us another child- He is truly amazing! 2010 was a rough year for Bryan and I but we are working through it and I am so excited to look towards 2011 and the plan that God has in store for our family!

Blessings friends,
