1st week of school

My baby girl started Kindergarten this week- I CAN NOT believe it! When did she get so big and independent?? She is loving school and she also loves to give me sarcastic responses when I ask her what she did at school that day :) Makenzie is really enjoying gymnastics and cheerleading and had so much fun performing at Meet the Bulldogs- she remembered both of the chants and motions all by herself and did a great job with the dance too!!! I was so proud- my dad said she looked just like me out there on the football field. She is my girl!!

Alex is still getting adjusted to his new class (the ducks) at Rainbow. When we left for our cruise I dropped him off at school and then my mom picked him up and we were gone for a week- I think I scarred him for life now. My big boy, he is such a mess- literally- he says "mess mess mess" after he has finished eating in his highchair and has managed to smash and spread his entire dinner everywhere- especially in his hair- he need extra conditioner I guess- then he says "splash splash?"

Bryan did great in his summer classes and now has a Fall full of psychology classes- I am so proud of him for doing so well in his classes. Who would have thought Bryan Wilson would be the "old guy" in college blowing the curve for everyone- Way to go honey!! I have taken on some more responsibilites at Frontier- Auto Trader and Weekly Insurance Reports other than that I am just trying to organize our house- does it ever stay that way???

We are all trying to get adjusted to the School Schedule- we are all a little tired- hopefully next week won't seem so early when the alarm clocks start going off! But I am proud to say that I have not been late getting Makenzie to school or picking her up and if you know me you know how much of a miracle that is especially considering how CRAZY the wylie traffic is! I feel so blessed- God is so good! I love my family- being a mother is such a joy and experiencing the differences in boys and girls just makes me laugh out loud sometimes.
